This device is designed for accurate measurement of moisture content in various materials, primarily wood, as well as concrete, mortar, and brick. Its pin-type design allows for precise readings, while features like a backlit LCD, audible/visual alerts, data hold, and max/min value tracking enhance usability. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure correct usage and optimal performance.

The Elitech MOT-270W requires one (1) AAA battery (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the battery:

5.2 Material Modes (Measurement Gears)

The modes are categorized as follows:

5.3 Data Functions

The Data Hold function allows you to freeze the current measurement on the display, which is useful when taking readings in hard-to-reach areas or when the value is fluctuating.

1. While taking a measurement, press the MANOHANA button. The current reading will be held on the display.

5.3.2 MAX/MIN Value Tracking

This function allows you to track the maximum and minimum moisture content detected during a measurement session.

1. Tsindrio ny SET button to activate MAX/MIN mode. The display will show "MAX" or "MIN".
2. As you take measurements, the display will update to show the highest (MAX) or lowest (MIN) value recorded.
3. Tsindrio ny SET button again to switch between MAX and MIN display.
4. To exit MAX/MIN mode, press and hold the SET bokotra.
