4.1. Unboxing and Initial Assembly

Carefully remove the trainer and all accessories from the packaging. Ensure the packaging box is positioned upright with the front side (marked OPEN) facing upwards during unboxing.

Fametrahana tongotra: Remove the main unit and place it into the corresponding slot on the upper tray, ensuring the screw holes are properly aligned. Pre-tighten two screws crosswise on both the front and rear legs—turn them a few threads by hand but do not fully tighten. Lift the main unit and place it on the ground. Then install the remaining screws and tighten all screws using a hex key. Install screws with washers during assembly to prevent loosening over time. If binding occurs, loosen the screws slightly, suspend the legs in mid-air, and retighten. If binding continues, apply thread-locking treatment from the rear of the leg assembly, back out the screws, then retry forward assembly and tightening.

Fanitsiana tongotra: To raise the trainer, rotate the foot pads clockwise. To lower, rotate the foot pads counterclockwise. Once the desired height is reached, tighten the locking washer counterclockwise to secure the foot pads.

4.2. Fametrahana kasety

The T2H supports Shimano 11-/12-speed cassettes and SRAM 11-speed cassettes directly. SRAM 12-speed cassettes require an XDR freehub body (sold separately) for compatibility. For 8/9/10-Speed Cassettes (Shimano/SRAM), install a cassette spacer onto the freehub body first, then mount the cassette.

CYCPLUS T2H Cassette Compatibility

If your T2H comes with a pre-installed cassette, proceed directly to frame installation. If no cassette is pre-installed, identify the narrowest spline on the freehub body. Find the triangular alignment mark on the cassette. Stack all cassette sprockets from largest to smallest, aligning each with the triangular mark. Firmly grip the stacked sprockets as a unit. Align the triangular mark with the groove to the right of the narrowest spline. Slowly push the cassette onto the freehub body until fully seated. Alternatively, arrange the cassette sprockets in descending order (largest to smallest), then secure them with the lockring. Use a chain whip and cassette lockring tool to tighten the lockring. (Note: Cassette installation tools are not included).

4.3. Frame Installation

Confirm whether your wheel uses a thru-axle or quick-release system, and install accordingly. Use your bicycle's original thru-axle or quick-release skewer. Do not use the included quick-release skewer for frame installation.

If your bike has hydraulic disc brakes, install a disc brake pad spacer into the caliper after removing the rear wheel to prevent accidental piston engagement.

WARNING! If you encounter resistance, misalignment, or mechanical interference during installation: DO NOT force the installation – this risks frame damage. Immediately contact customer support for assistance.

Thru-Axle Frame Installation

Use the included 17mm wrench to install the right thru-axle adapter. If your T2H comes with a pre-installed cassette (using a thru-axle adapter), the T2H comes with the thru-axle adapter and two spacers pre-mounted. Install the left thru-axle adapter: For mountain bikes, the long end of the adapter faces outward. For road bikes, the short end of the adapter faces outward.

Quick-Release Frame Installation

Use the included 5mm hex key to install the right quick-release adapter. If your T2H came with a pre-installed cassette (using a thru-axle adapter), remove the thru-axle adapter first. When installing the quick-release adapter, ensure two spacers are inserted into the gap. Install the left quick-release adapter: For mountain bikes & disc-brake road bikes, the long end of the adapter faces outward. For rim-brake road bikes, the short end of the adapter faces outward.

Shift the rear derailleur to position the chain on the smallest chainring (front) and smallest cassette sprocket (rear). Align the bicycle chain with the smallest sprocket on the trainer's cassette. Carefully mount the bicycle frame onto the trainer. Tighten the frame using your bicycle's original thru-axle or quick-release skewer. Gently shake the bicycle to confirm it is securely locked to the trainer.

WARNING! ①Improperly securing your bike may cause serious equipment damage or personal injury. ②NEVER adjust the quick-release skewer or thru-axle while a rider is seated on the bicycle. ③Some bicycle frames are incompatible with the T2H. If you encounter abnormal resistance, misalignment, or structural interference during installation, STOP IMMEDIATELY – Do not force installation. ④Contact Cycplus Customer Support immediately for unresolved installation issues.

5.1. Fampifandraisana herinaratra

Use only the included power adapter to connect the trainer to a power source. Downhill simulation requires a continuous power supply for optimal performance.

5.2. Virtual Shifting

T2H supports virtual electronic shifting when paired with the BC2 controller (optional accessory). Note: Virtual shifting is disabled in ERG mode. The BC2 controller is sold separately.

5.3. Custom Configuration

Open the CYCPLUS App and connect to the trainer. Navigate to the Trainer Control Interface > Settings. Adjust parameters (e.g., resistance curve, simulation sensitivity) to customize your training experience.

5.4. Gradient Simulation

The trainer replicates up to 20% incline resistance. When connected to an external power source, the motor neutralizes frictional resistance and simulates higher rotational inertia, enhancing realism for downhill scenarios.
