- Reinstall the chain cover and loosely tighten the two screws.
- Adjust the chain tension using the side-mounted tensioner screw. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand. Lift the tip of the guide bar slightly while tightening the tensioner screw.
- Once the tension is correct, fully tighten the two chain cover screws.
