The IMEX VCC012 drain valve is designed for simple and quick installation. Follow these steps:

1. Prepare the Sink/Bidet: Ensure the drain hole in your washbasin or bidet is clean and free of debris.
2. Disassemble the Drain: Separate the upper and lower parts of the drain valve. The large white washer and rubber gasket typically go on the underside of the sink.
3. Position the Upper Part: Place the upper part of the drain valve (with the pop-up cap) into the drain hole from the top of the sink/bidet. Ensure any sealing washers are correctly positioned.
4. Attach the Lower Part: From underneath the sink/bidet, slide the rubber gasket and then the large white washer onto the threaded shaft of the drain valve.
5. Secure the Nut: Thread the locking nut onto the shaft and tighten it by hand. Use a wrench to gently tighten further, ensuring a watertight seal without overtightening.
6. Connect to Plumbing: Connect your existing waste pipe to the 1 1/4 inch bottom thread of the drain valve. Ensure this connection is also watertight.

Note: For installations with an overflow, ensure the overflow channel of your sink/bidet aligns with the drain valve's design if applicable. This universal valve is designed to work with or without overflow.

• To Close the Drain: Press down firmly on the center of the pop-up cap. You will hear a "click" as it locks into the closed position, sealing the drain and allowing the basin to fill with water.
• To Open the Drain: Press down firmly on the center of the pop-up cap again. You will hear another "click" as it releases and pops up, allowing water to drain freely.

  • Inspect the internal spring mechanism for damage. If the spring is broken, the unit may need replacement.
• Slow draining:

  • Check the connected waste pipe for blockages further down the plumbing system.
