This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Motorola Solutions T200TP Talkabout Two-Way Radios. Please read this guide thoroughly before using your radios to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Your Motorola Solutions T200TP package includes the following items:
- 3 Radio
- 3 Fehin-kibo
- 3 (AA) NiMH Rechargeable Battery Packs
- 1 "Y" Cable Charging Adapter with dual micro USB connector

Hametraka
1. Fametrahana bateria
Your T200TP radios can operate using either the included NiMH rechargeable battery packs or three standard AA batteries (not included). To install batteries:
- Ataovy azo antoka fa maty ny radio.

- Insert the NiMH battery pack or three AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

2. Charging the Radios
To charge the NiMH rechargeable battery packs:
- Connect the "Y" cable charging adapter to a power source.
- Plug the dual micro USB connectors into the charging ports located on the side of each radio.
- Allow sufficient time for the batteries to fully charge. The charging indicator on the radio's display will show charging status.
Note: For optimal battery life, ensure radios are turned off during charging. A full charge may take several hours.

3. Mametaka ny fehikibo fehikibo
The included belt clips allow for convenient carrying of your radios. To attach a belt clip, align the clip with the designated slots on the back of the radio and slide it down until it locks into place.

1. Power On/off
To power on the radio, press and hold the fahefana button until the display illuminates. To power off, press and hold the fahefana bokotra indray mandra-pamono ny fampisehoana.
2. Fantenana fantsona
Your T200TP radios feature 22 channels. To select a channel:
- Tsindrio ny sakafo bokotra. Hitselatra ny laharan'ny fantsona.
- Ampiasao ny + or - buttons to scroll through the available channels.
- Tsindrio ny sakafo bokotra indray hanamafisana ny safidinao.

3. Kaody tsiambaratelo
The radios offer 121 privacy codes, creating a total of 2,662 combinations to help ensure clear communication. To set a privacy code:
- Rehefa avy misafidy fantsona ianao dia tsindrio ny sakafo button twice. The privacy code will flash.
- Ampiasao ny + or - buttons to select a privacy code.
- Tsindrio ny sakafo button again to confirm. All radios in your group must be set to the same channel and privacy code to communicate.
4. Mampita sy mandray
To transmit a message, press and hold the Push-to-talk (PTT) button located on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to listen for a response.

The T200TP series features an accessory connector, allowing for the use of an audio accessory headset (sold separately). This enables hands-free operation, clearer reception in noisy environments, and discreet communication without removing the radio from your belt or carrying case.
6. Faritra fifandraisana
The communication range is up to 20 miles under optimum, unobstructed line-of-sight conditions. Actual range will vary significantly based on terrain, weather conditions, electromagnetic interference, and obstructions. For example, range may be up to 20 miles in mountain-to-valley scenarios, up to 5 miles on open water, and up to 1 mile in a neighborhood with obstructions.

7. Fanaraha-maso Function
The monitor function allows you to listen for weak signals on the current channel. Press the MON button to activate or deactivate this feature.

To prolong the life of your NiMH rechargeable battery packs:
- Fully charge new battery packs before first use.
- Avoid overcharging or completely draining the batteries frequently.
- Store radios and batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- If a battery pack fails or shows reduced performance, it can be replaced by accessing the battery compartment.

- Ensure batteries are adequately charged.
