- In-Duct Measurement: Insert the piercing tip of the rod into the ductwork. The rod hook allows the SPK3 to hang hands-free from registers or ductwork, providing stable readings.
- Fampisehoana orientation: The backlit display automatically flips its orientation when the unit is hung or positioned in ROD mode, ensuring readings are always upright.
3.3 Infrared (IR) Mode
The 8:1 infrared gun provides quick, non-contact surface temperature measurements.
- Activating IR: Point the infrared sensor (located at the top of the unit) towards the target surface.

To clean the SPK3, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water. Ensure the infrared lens and probe tip are kept clean for accurate measurements.
