2. Information momba ny fiarovana
WARNING: Electrical testing can be hazardous. Always exercise extreme caution when working with electrical circuits. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in injury or damage to the device.
- Always ensure the tester is in good working condition before use.
- Aza ampiasaina ny fitaovana fitsapana raha toa ka simba izy na raha simba ny insulation-ny.
- Never exceed the specified voltage ranges of the device.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as insulated gloves and safety glasses, when performing electrical tests.
- Do not attempt to open or modify the tester. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
- Arovy tsy ho azon'ny ankizy ny bateria. Raha voatelina dia mitadiava fitsaboana haingana.
3. Vokatra mihoatraview
The Yato YT-28631 is a compact, pen-style digital voltage tester. It features both contact and inductive testing methods for voltage detection, along with capabilities for testing circuit breaks, diodes, transistors, resistors, and capacitors.

Figure 1: Yato YT-28631 Voltage Tester. The image shows the red and black body of the tester, with the red protective cap removed from the metal testing tip. The Yato logo and model number YT-28631 are visible on the body, along with indicator lights and a pocket clip.
singa fototra:
- Torohevitra andrana: Used for direct contact measurements.
- Jiro famantarana: Provide visual feedback during testing (e.g., voltage presence).
- Clip paosy: Mba ho mora entina.
- Efitra bateria: Located at the rear, for LR44 batteries.
4. Fametrahana
Fametrahana bateria:
The Yato YT-28631 Voltage Tester requires 2x LR44 1.5V batteries for operation. Batteries are not included with the device.
- Locate the battery compartment cover, typically at the rear end of the tester.
- Esory tsara ny fonony.
- Insert two LR44 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Soloy tsara ny fonon'ny efitrefitra bateria.
5. Torolàlana miasa
The YT-28631 offers multiple testing functions. Always ensure the area is safe and the circuit is de-energized before performing contact tests, unless specifically testing for live voltage.
5.1. AC Voltage Testing (Contact Method)
- Sarona: 70-250V AC
- Touch the metal testing tip of the tester to the live conductor (e.g., inside a wall socket or wire).
- Observe the indicator lights. Illumination indicates the presence of AC voltage ao anatin'ny faritra voafaritra.
5.2. AC Voltage Testing (Inductive Method)
- Sarona: 70-1000V AC
- Hold the tester near an insulated wire or cable.
- The tester will detect the electromagnetic field of live AC voltage without direct contact. Indicator lights will illuminate if voltage dia hita.
5.3. DC Voltage Testing (Contact Method)
- Sarona: 1.5-9VDC
- Touch the metal testing tip to the positive terminal of the DC source (e.g., battery).
- Observe the indicator lights. Illumination indicates the presence of DC voltage ao anatin'ny faritra voafaritra.
5.4. Other Tests (Circuit Breaks, Diode, Transistor, Resistor, Capacitor)
The tester can also be used for basic continuity and component testing. For detailed procedures on these specific tests, refer to standard electrical testing practices and ensure the circuit or component is completely de-energized before testing.
- Circuit Breaks: Use the contact method to trace wires and identify breaks in continuity.
- Diode fitsapana: Can indicate basic functionality (forward/reverse bias).
- Fitsapana Transistor: Can indicate basic functionality (NPN/PNP type).
- Resistor Test: Can indicate basic continuity.
- Capacitor Test: Can indicate basic charge/discharge.
6. Fikojakojana
Fanadiovana:
Fafao amin'ny lamba maina sy madio ny fitaovana fandrefesana. Aza mampiasa mpanadio na solvents mikikisana, satria mety hanimba ny c ireo.asing na singa anatiny.
Fanoloana bateria:
When the indicator lights become dim or the tester fails to respond, replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4. Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
fitahirizana:
Tehirizo ao amin'ny toerana mangatsiaka sy maina ny fitaovana fandrefesana, lavitry ny tara-masoandro mivantana sy ny mari-pana tafahoatra. Raha tehirizina mandritra ny fotoana maharitra dia esory ny bateria mba hisorohana ny fivoahan'ny rano.
7. Famahana olana
- Tester not turning on / No indicator lights:
- Jereo ny fametrahana ny bateria sy ny polarity.
- Replace batteries with new LR44 1.5V cells.
- Inconsistent readings / False positives:
- Ensure proper contact with the conductor for contact method tests.
- For inductive tests, ensure no other strong electromagnetic fields are interfering.
- Verify the tester is clean and free from moisture.
- Tester appears damaged:
- Discontinue use immediately. Do not attempt repairs.
