5.2. Charging the Rechargeable Battery

Use the provided Rapid Battery Charger and Power Adaptors for the rechargeable Lithium Polymer Battery.

  1. Connect the power adaptor to the rapid charger.
  2. Plug the power adaptor into a suitable power outlet.
  3. Place the radio with the rechargeable battery installed into the charging cradle.
  4. Observe the charging indicator light (refer to charger manual for specific light indications).
  5. Charging typically takes several hours. Do not overcharge.

5.3. Antenna Attachment

  1. Screw the antenna clockwise onto the antenna connector at the top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
