3. Setting a Sub-Channel (CTCSS/DCS)
The T-388 supports 99 sub-channels (privacy codes) to minimize interference from other users on the same main channel. Both walkie talkies must have the same main channel and sub-channel to communicate.
- Tsindrio ny sakafo button twice. The sub-channel number on the LCD will flash.
- Ampiasao ny Miakatra (▲) or Midina (▼) buttons to select your desired sub-channel (0-99). Setting to 0 disables the sub-channel.
- Tsindrio ny LAHATENY button to confirm your selection and exit the menu, or press sakafo again to proceed to other settings.
